"The best cosmetics ever?" - Les cosmétiques chers ne sont pas forcément les meilleurs!

Beaucoup d'entre nous ont tendance à penser que les produits chers sont caractérisés par plus d'efficacité que les produits bon marchés. Cela, pourrait être vrai, mais pensez-vous vraiment que l'application régulière des substances chimiques ne serait sans effet secondaire sur notre santé?

Aujourd'hui, j'ai regardé de prêt le sujet et voici ce qu'il en est ressorti:

Prenons le sérum C E Ferulic de la marque SkinCeuticals

Prix:

Composition indiquée sur le site de la marque ("Les ingrédients-clé"): 

L-ascorbique, Alfa tocophérol, Acide férulique

Tout va bien avec ces trois-là- ils ne sont pas "méchants"!

Composition réelle:

L-ascorbique, Alfa tocophérol, Acide férulique, Eau, Propylène glycol, Ethoxydiglycol, Hydroxyde de sodium, Glycérol, Sodium-laureth-sulfate, Le 2-phénoxyéthanol, Parabène, Hyaluronate de Sodium

5 d'entre eux se trouvent sur la liste noire des ingrédients interdits dans les produits cosmétiques!

1. Prophylène glycol: c'est un conservateur dérivé du pétrole et utilisé dans les peintures.
2. Ethoxydiglycol: c'est un conservateur appartenant à la famille des éthers de glycol, il est autorisé sous réserve de faible concentration
3. Sodium-laureth-sulfate: ce détergent est utilisé pour ses effets moussants. Ils irritent la peau et crée des allérgies. Selon de récents rapports scientifiques sur ses effets à long terme, ce produit pourrait être cancérigène et pourrait dérégler le développement des yeux lors de l’enfance s’il se retrouve en contact avec les tissus de l’appareil visuel. 
4. Le 2-phénoxyéthanol: ANSM (Agence Nationale de la Sécurité du Médicament et des produits de santé) mène une étude sur sur le phénoxyéthano depuis 2002. Elle a publié son rapport en mai 2013 Reconnu comme allergisant, le phénoxyéthanol peut provoquer de l’eczéma et de l’urticaire chez certains. Le phénoxyéthanol serait également porteur de risques cancérigènes, de fertilité pour l’homme et de toxicité pour le foetus.
5. Parabènes: Ce sont les fameux conservateurs synthetiques qui sont cancérigènes. Cliquez ici pour plus d'information sur les parabènes

Sachez, que beaucoup de cosmétiques vendus sur le marché contiennent des substances toxiques (Clique ici pour voir plus). Le sérum C E Ferulic de SkinCeuticals est étudié dans cet article à titre d'example.

• Il n’y a eu aucun test sur les animaux et leurs emballages sont recyclables.

Today, I decided to check it out.

Let's study the famous C E Ferulic from SkinCeuticals

Ingredients indicated on the fabricant webside :

15% L-Ascorbic Acid, 1% Alpha Tocopherol, 0.5% Ferulic Acid

Real composition of the product:

15% L-Ascorbic Acid, 1% Alpha Tocopherol, 0.5% Ferulic Acid, Water, Propylene Glycol, Ethoxydiglycol, Panthenol, Glycerin, Laureth-23, Phenoxyethanol, Triethanolamine, Sodium Hyaluronate

5 of them are on the list of toxic cosmetic ingredients to avoid!

1. Propylene Glycol: Petroleum plastics, EPA considers Propylene Glycol so toxic it requires gloves, clothing, googles and disposal by burying. EPA warns against skin contact to prevent brain, liver and kidney abnormalities.
2. Ethoxydiglycol: It contains ether, and therefore can be linked to cancer, developmental/reproductive toxicity, allergic reactions and endocrine disruptions. Preliminary research found parabens (Methyl, Propyl, Butyl and Ethyl Paraben) in human breast cancer tumors
3. Laureth-23 (Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate): Used in car washes, garage floor cleaners, engine degreasers and 90% of personal care products that foam (look at the ingredients composition of your shower gel!). Causes eye damage, depression, labored breathing, diarrhea, skin irritation and death.
4. Phenoxyethanol: The Food and Drug Administration has warned that the chemical is toxic to infants via ingestion, and "can depress the central nervous system and may cause vomiting and diarrhea.". See more information here
5. Triethanolamine: This foam booster is a skin/eye irritant and causes contact dermatitis. Easily absorbed through the skin to accumulate in body organs and te brain

Before buying beauty products, check here the ingredients list. These ingredients can be found in make-up, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, perfumes, baby care products, sunscreens, toothpastes, nail products, and deodorants. What I love about Cycling?

It is cheap (it saves on gas consumption and it is economical in maintenance compared to a car or a motorbike)

Zachodnia i środkowa Europa kontynentalna. 

Pierwszy kot Europejski, został przywieziony do Europy północnej przez najeźdźców rzymskich, żeby walczył ze szkodnikami w ich magazynach z jedzeniem. Europejczyk był całkowicie ignorowany jako rasa do początku lat 70-tych. W 1982 r. rasa została uznana przez FIFe, i od tej pory Europejczyk nie jest juz zwykłym dachowcem :-)

Legenda głosi, ze przodkiem kota kartuskiego jest dziki kot górski z rejonu dzisiejszej Syrii. Kot ten został sprowadzony do Francji w XIII wieku przez Krzyżowców, spośród których wielu wstąpiło do zakonu kartuzów.

Miauczy bardzo rzadko, za to bardzo głośno mruczy

Z Francji kot kartuski dotarł do Anglii, gdzie powstał nowy typ angielskiego kota niebieskiego - Brytyjski Krótkowłosy (British Shorthair). Ze względu na specyficzna "przyjaźń" brytyjsko-francuską, pomyłki obu ras są bardzo częste i stanowią zarzewie sporu miedzy ich miłośnikami... Otóż wpisując w wyszukiwarkę "chartreux" (francuska nazwa kota kartuskiego), w wynikach pojawia sie zawsze kot brytyjski krótkowłosy, chcąc niejako zdyskredytować blask tego eleganckiego - jak na Francuza przystało - kota. Aby wiec rozpoznać kota kartuskiego, należy przyjrzeć sie barwie jego sierści (szaroniebieska i bez żadnych pręg i plamek, podczas gdy brytyjski krótkowłosy może być różnobarwny i wielo-wzorczasty), jego głowie (u kota kartuskiego jest wpisana w "przewrócony" trapez, a u kota brytyjskiego jest ona okrągła), ogólnej budowie (kot kartuski jest budowy średniej, kot brytyjski jest duży i krepy). Zwróćcie też uwage na jego nos, gdyż jest on prosty, podczas gdy kot brytyjski odziedziczył swój nos po kocie perskim - jest krotki i zakończony stopem). ...

Stubborn & persistent & assiduous

Najlepszym sposobem na naukę języka, jest praktyka. Gdy konwersacja w języku obcym wydaje sie, i jest (!), niemożliwa, możemy postawić na dobrą książkę. 

Ja wybrałam Harrego Pottera. ...za interesującą historię i łatwość użytego języka :-) 

Bądź człowieku WYTRWAŁY a osiągniesz to, do czego dążysz.

Ça m'arrive de me faire des cours d'anglais à moi-même, c'est parce que me suis dit qu'un jour je parlerais couramment anglais. 

Si vous aussi vous rêvez d'être fluent en anglais, commencez par lire des livres en VO - bon match: un livre intéressant et facile à comprendre revient au fameux Harry Potter! 

Et puis, soyez PERSEVERANT dans ce que vous faites!

Szarlotka - my favourite polish sweet!

Szarlotka is one of the most freequently seen sweets in Poland. 

I always said, that this was not an ordinary apple crumble pie! Szarlotka IS Szarlotka... 

Moreover, Szarlotka must be served warm... with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. 

Today, I committed a crime... I completely forgot to buy the accompaniment to my Sarlotka!

I made it with my chocolate stick :-)

La Szarlotka (prononcez « charlotka) est une recette polonaise de tarte aux pommes recouverte d’une sorte de crumble. 

Mon dessert préféré, Szarlotka devrait obligatoirement être servi à chaud, accompagné d'une boule de glace à la vanille et de la chantilly.

Weekend break in France - the Vosges, Ventron

Where to go in France on weekend?

I could give you a hint, unless you are a big-cities-liker...

If you would rather escape the smog, take your backpack and "get away" of the city life... don't hesitate while choosing your weekend break destination - choose Ventron in the Vosges!

Facts: 

• You will get a braeth of fresh air
• You will exercise your muscles for sure, indeed, there is no plains in there! :-) - it's up to you your means of transportation (by foot, by bike...)
